Historicizing Provenance Research

The DFG-funded Center for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences "Applied Humanities: Genealogy and Politics" at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin invites applications for a four-year research position - TV-L E 13 (part time 65%) - in the area of "Practices of Provenance Research" - starting October 1, 2024.

Job profile:

  • participate in building the newly established Research Center "Applied Humanities" (participate in academic events and provide other academic services)
  • conduct research in the context of the center's theme of "Applied·Humanities", including an individual project of your own in the area of "Practices of Provenance Research

Requirements:

  • master's degree or equivalent in a liberal arts discipline (preferably with a focus on the history of science)
  • very good command of written and spoken English
  • committed to working in an inter- and transdisciplinary team
